In Winter 2004, Nadine was on sabbatical with the purpose of exploring new Internet technologies. During that time, she explored the use of blogs, wikis, and other chat tools. Web 2.0 technologies that were just emerging on the scene. The culmination of the sabbatical was the creation of ED392X, an advanced course for those instructors who had completed ED392 and wished to expand their skill. Since Internet pedagogy had developed, the course refreshed and expanding the theoretical underpinnings of online instruction and gave instructors practice with the new technologies.
Since its inception, Nadine has taught the course in Winter 2007, Spring 2008, and Spring 2009.
